Dr. Joseph Koval was born in Orange County, New York, but moved to Kentucky in time to attend Oldham County High School. He continued his education at the University of Louisville, and after graduating from the School of Dentistry in 1996, Dr. Koval joined the Mortenson Family Dental team and has practiced in Shelbyville, Kentucky ever since. Dr. Koval and his wife Holly, have three children, Nicole, Haley, and Ryan. They enjoy spending time boating on different lakes around the state. And if there is any time left after practicing dentistry, raising three children, and going to the lake, Dr. Koval spends it restoring his classic Mustang.
