Dr. Will Parell is originally from Versailles, Kentucky. He attended Rice University, where he completed a double major in biological sciences and economics before earning his dental degree at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Parell went on to complete the two-year General Practice Residency (GPR) program at the University of Texas Health and Science Center in Houston, serving as chief resident the second year. He then completed further training in cosmetic and implant dentistry. In 2020, he was awarded a fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry, providing him with over 500 hours of continuing education. Dr. Parell’s parents, both physicians, are his inspirations for becoming a dentist. What he enjoys most about dentistry are the relationships that come from getting to know and building trust with his patients. Dr. Parell is married to Emily Parell, a third year dental student, and they are expecting their first child in July 2021. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, walking his dogs Derby and Gracie, attending spin classes and running. He admits to being a bit of a foodie and loves exploring all the diverse local restaurants Louisville has to offer.
