Dr. Hafele was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated from University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1991, and since then has focused on continuing her professional development. She has been serving her patients in New Albany since 2006. Dr. Hafele has continued her education in sedation, dentistry, laser dentistry, Invisalign training and has completed course work at the Pankey Institute. Marianne has been married to her husband Carl for six years. Their blended family of seven children keeps them very busy. Carl and Marianne enjoy their time with family and friends, watching them participate in sports, traveling and enjoy exercising and the outdoors.
Dr. Sarah Sukhorukov was born and raised in Gainesville, FL. She received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida before she graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Prior of entering dental school, Dr. Sukhorukov worked as a dental assistant for many years. After witnessing a close family member’s journey through extensive dental surgery and seeing firsthand how the results changed their life with renewed confidence, self esteem, and overall improved quality of life, she knew then she wanted to become a dentist. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Sukhorukov continued her education by obtaining her Ph.D. in Oral Immunology and Infectious Diseases by studying the effects of periodontal disease on systemic health. This knowledge has allowed her to continue fulfilling her role in life and career by being a public servant to the community and to her patients. Having a positive impact in the lives of her patients and improving their overall health is what she enjoys most about being a dentist. In her spare time, Dr. Sukhorukov enjoys traveling, painting and spending time with her family. Her and her husband have one daughter.
Dr. Janice Wilson received a nursing degree from Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colorado. With some influence from her brother, who is a dentist in Colorado, she decided to earn her dental degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Her nursing experience sets her apart from other dentists by providing her with the compassion and ability to support healthcare for the whole body. She says what she enjoys most about dentistry is creating healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Wilson is currently studying cyber security at Sullivan University. She lives on a farm in southern Indiana where she has a quarter horse and a large garden she tends to in the summers. In her spare time, she enjoys raising, training and showing her German shepherds.
