Dr. Josh McAlpin grew up in Somerset, KY where his father was a dentist. He attributes his desire and passion to becoming a dentist to his father. Dr. McAlpin attended Somerset Community College before finishing his undergraduate work at the University of Louisville where he eventually graduated from UofL Dental School. Dr. McAlpin has spent many years working in dental offices as well as other Mortenson offices gaining experience and knowledge before making his home in the Lebanon Junction office. His ultimate goal is to make patients feel welcome and happy with their smile and even describes himself as “a bit of a perfectionist”. In his spare time, Dr. McAlpin enjoys working on cars, home renovations, being outdoors camping and spending time with his family which include two daughters, Bella and Leighton.
Dr. Walker was born in Florida and attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate studies. She decided to leave the Sunshine State to attend University of Louisville School of Dentistry where she graduated in 2003. After graduation, Dr. Walker served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy where she was stationed in San Diego and Atsugi, Japan. After her four year commitment was complete, Dr. Walker was excited to move back to Louisville with her family. When Dr. Walker is not working, she spends her spare time with her family husband Michael, son Henry and daughter Elsie and enjoying the adventures that they bring!
