Dr. Lawrence views dentistry as a unique blend of science and art, a perspective rooted in her diverse background. Originally from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, she earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Oregon Health and Science University. Before her dental studies, she completed a Master’s coursework in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Wisconsin. This foundation, combined with her earlier career as a pastry chef, fuels her passion for the artistic aspect of fixing teeth — viewing teeth as “tiny sculptures of art.”

She was encouraged to pursue dentistry by a childhood neighbor and family friend who was a practicing dentist.

Outside of the operatory, Dr. Lawrence is close with her two sisters and shares her home with a beloved, albeit slightly rotund, cat whose diet attempts have been unsuccessful. She enjoys expressing her creativity through stained glass, ceramics, and drawing in her spare time.
